A Day Exploring Shibuya

Hello! Today, I visited Shibuya in Tokyo. On this tour, we tried Japan’s sourest candy, played Mario Kart together, and enjoyed some soba for lunch.

Lunch: Nakamura Menbee Shibuya

For lunch, we went to “Nakamura Menbee Shibuya” to savor traditional Japanese soba. Soba is a representative Japanese dish that’s healthy and gentle on the body. It’s typically eaten by dipping the noodles into a hot broth, offering a simple yet profound flavor.

Mario Kart at the Arcade

After lunch, we challenged ourselves with the popular real-life Mario Kart at a game center in Shibuya. During the game, I had a driving license while my friend did not, so I managed to win (laughs).

Shopping at Don Quijote

Next, we stopped by “Don Quijote.” This store is known for having everything you could possibly need, making it a great place to find solutions to any problem. We bought “Shigekix,” Japan’s sourest candy. When you try it for the first time, you’re sure to make a sour face!
